Come and be surrounded by flowers at Farmers on 57th! Make a beautiful bouquet to take home. Supplies & arranging guidance included.
PLEASE NOTE: OUR LOCATION IS DIFFERENT FROM OUR ADDRESS
We are located on the west side of the property belonging to Oak Care Centre at 780 West 57th Ave. The address is theirs.
Our location is on the east side of Heather St, between West 57th and West 59th Avenues. There's a sandwich board and hanging sign and little library outside the entrance. Across the street are school fields.
Environment/Access: We'll be outside, so come dressed for the weather. We'll put up the tent if we need shade or raincover. Pathways around the gardens are paved and wheelchair accessible. Paths are sloped with the land. Please let us know if you need any specific supports to attend. No toilets on site.
Activities: We'll talk a bit about how we grow the flowers, with organic growing practices, and the types of flowers we grow - then guided by Farmer Emilie's expert tips you'll make your own bouquet to take home! All set in the lush growing space that is Farmers on 57th.

The highest price is the actual cost of the event. This is for those who have expendable income and paying for this event would not be considered a hardship at all.
The middle price is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this event may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship.
The lowest price is for those who struggle to meet basic needs and paying for this event would still be a significant hardship.
The Pay-It-Forward price is adding a donation above the actual cost of the event and that extra money goes towards supporting future free and low-cost events. Essentially it's an opportunity to not only enjoy an event, but also to support your fellow community members at the same time.
