Well, what a predicament we all find ourselves in. Our hearts are deeply pained for all the people suffering, those who are unwell or worried for their loved ones. You are foremost in our thoughts. Top of mind are the residents of George Pearson Centre, many of them fellow gardeners, who live in the long-term residential care facility on whose grounds we farm. The Tarps are Down

As the redevelopment on the Pearson-Dogwood site begins to take shape, we farmers must relocate the market garden by the end of 2018. There are many phases of the redevelopment project, and the first phase builds where the existing market garden is currently located. The future permanent location of the farm will not be established for several years. So – we are building a transition farm! Sharing Salad at Growing Eden

The last two Wednesdays I was immersed in the Growing Eden program, surrounded by the laughter of children and their mothers, and a lush thriving garden. We hunted for peas – secret green treasures hidden among green leaves. I held the plant steady while small hands pulled determinedly, until the pea pod popped free. Then we carefully placed each pea into the basket, and the hunt continued.
